Healthy Menu Choices

While going through my Slenderiix.com Weight Loss Transformation (PhaseII), I have found creative menu items to add a diversified choice. Slenderiix allows certain proteins, fruit and veggies to be used as part of the program.

Breakfast Ideas:

2 Egg Omelet- No CHEESE, add appoved veggies (my favorite is tomato, spinach and mushroom)

Substitute for 45 calorie toast- Eggo Wheat Waffle

Substitute breakfast fruit instead of lunch- 1 c. of pink grapefruit

Recommended cereals, oatmels


Lunch Ideas:

Tuna pattie salad-5oz can of Tuna or Fresh Tuna, Bell Peppers diced, pimento peppers, drain excess water, make pattie on stove top in a non-stick cooking pan, NO OIL, BUTTER or Grease added. Top green salad of choice!

Taco salad- Ground lean Turkey, brown and add taco seasoning, Top green salad of your choice! No Chips...

Chicken Cob salad- Chicken breast seasoned and browned, use tangerine and/or apples,Top green salad of choice! If you are also using eggs, cut back portion of Chicken and subtract egg from morning meal.

Protein Shake- low glycemic, add 1 c. of desired fruit

Protein Shake- Pure Nourish, Almond or Soy Milk, and Greens (Baby Spinach)



Dinner:

Salmon/Chicken- (Grilled or Baked) with 2c. steamed side of veggie Broccoli, Carrots, Squash

Meat Loaf- Ground Lean Turkey, use egg as binding agent with Mccormick Meatloaf Seasoning or Lipton Onion Soup Mix. Incorporate a 2c. portion of veggie of choice and a 1c. of fruit.

Squash Chips- Sliced very thin, placed on cookies sheet basted with vegtable broth (Salt and Pepper) bake on 425 degree's until dry golden brown.

Dessert- Cottage Cheese & Fruit cup

Snack- Plain Popcorn
